The grounds

The eighty-seven comfortably furnished bedrooms are situated in the main house and adjacent within the courtyard. Many have views over the stunning gardens and terraces.

The delightful gardens, with Grade II listed features and parkland, have undergone careful and sympathetic restoration since 1988. They combine formal gardens and ponds with a croquet lawn. The lower grounds include Japanese gardens complete with waterfalls and an ornamental tea house, lakes and a wisteria walk providing an area for calm.
